Outdoor Hot Tub | Wired LifeThis integrated multi room audio system was installed as part of a larger whole house system. Wired Life designed a custom 8-zone indoor/outdoor multi room audio system with full control using a Nuvo Grand Concerto system with keypads and remote controls. This multi room audio system provided quality sound for TV input in conjunction with weatherproof and sealed connections for the hot tub room. This system solution was selected for this customer primarily to enhance the daily lifestyle as well as to entertain guests. The customer originally wanted the flexibility of a wireless system while having the stability and sound quality that comes from having it wired and this was the basis for the use of handheld touch screen remote controls.

Wired Life selected to combine these options with seamless integration using Philips Pronto TSU 9400 remote controls that enabled access to all rooms from any location and which worked alongside the single Nuvo OLED keypads that were placed in the smaller rooms. This created not only a more stable solution, but more convenient and cost effective as well. As with all properly installed multi room audio systems, this installation included hidden cables connecting the control room to amps, control boxes, speakers, and all other components

AV Rack | Wired LifeThe wireless remote controls and keypads provide full access to any room on the system thus providing flexibility of controlling each room’s soundtrack (or lack of) from a single location. These controls also display full meta data capabilities which show iPod names, access to playlists, radio stations, song titles, and the individual program information so the customer can always see what is being played at the time it is played. Party mode is another special feature of this multi room audio system installed by Wired Life where the customer can link zones (rooms) together and effectively change the source or the song for all zones just by changing it in one zone. Tonight, he may play Brahms in the child’s bedroom, the soundtrack to Godfather part II in the lounge, classic rock’n roll in the hot tub room, and soft jazz in the kitchen.

If your home is large enough to support different music in different rooms this solution would be a strong choice for you. Not sure? Contact Wired Life today for a personal evaluation.
